Iceland

Today we had our last day in Iceland. It's been an incredible trip and we have seen/experienced some amazing things!

It's the first time we've really had a chance to get out of Reykjavik, aside from the blue lagoon, as today we had our golden circle tour round the south of the country.

It was an early start compared to the rest of the days, picked up at half 9 by the tour company and we didn't get back till half 7 at night!

Great day though. Saw the geysers, an ancient church, the gullfloss (golden falls), a thermal power plant and the site where the Icelandic government has met for over 900 years up until the 1990s!

Our tour guide had such a relaxing voice aswell so perfect for two people recovering from a festival to get a snooze in between stops.

At night we went to lebowskis, a bar in town that we heard did amazing burgers, which did not disappoint. And Emily bought a White Russian for pudding, best round up to a holiday ever.
