Making a list

I gathered my Christmas cookie recipes and am now in the process of making a list of ingredients I need to stock up on. Then the baking begins. I'm a little behind this year, don't have my tree out of storage yet (gave up fresh trees years ago) and I usually make the time consuming cut out cookies on the day after Thanksgiving. So I may be baking into the late evening for a few nights. But the house will smell good!

Most of the snow has melted, temperature mild again today. I spent the afternoon running errands, ended up taking Riley for a walk with a flashlight in the dark. He doesn't mind, but I do!
