Winners

Felt very rough this morning after last nights outing from the works meal. Took a lot of effort to get to the train station on time for the train to Birmingham.
We are one of only 6 companies in the UK short-listed for one of the Lean Manufacture of the Year awards. There are 10 of us going down to see if we win.
Managed to get to Brum OK and I took the others around to the Old Fox in the Arcadian for some food. Not the best place but it was around the corner from the hotel.
The others went back out again while I had a lie down.
We all got ready and despite one of the group falling asleep we were all ready on time.
Had a great night with good food plenty of drink and good company. One of our group did have too much to drink and was becoming a pain in the ass. Had to be told off a few time by boss.
Unfortunately we didn’t win but here is boss with a well deserved certificate and bottle of bubbly. Carried on partying till the early hours.
