Black-headed with a white head!

Black-headed gulls are sociable, quarrelsome, noisy birds. The birds are not really black-headed, more chocolate brown but for most of the year, it has a white head. I usually see two or three resting on the rails unless they spy someone with a bag of bread and then dozens of them appear to fight for the crumbs and total mayhem ensues.
