Potential Blippers in the Louvre

This is a photography class sponsored by the Louvre. The overall program includes classes for persons from around eight years of age to adults. As I've mentioned previously, French museums welcome school children, but this is a program that goes beyond that--in fact the Louvre sponsors all sorts of activities (notably on Friday evenings)

[Added a bit later] The main thing we saw at the Louvre was a spectacular exhibition on the Byzantine tradition and culture in Russia (Sainte Russie. beginning with the early middle ages. (It's part of this year's celebration of Russia in France.) Another potential blip was our local voting site for today's first round of regional elections, which have been widely billed as a referendum on President Sarkozy. Finally, this afternoon France crushed Italy (46-20) in the Six Nations Rugby tournament, essentially guaranteeing first place regardless of the outcome of next weekend's final round.
