Frost

The sun was just high enough when I took this shot to catch the frost on one of the leaves of my flowering currant, Ribes sanguineum. I also liked this one of frost on the moss (and weeds!) on the top of the garden wall, but the spareness of the currant leaf won out today.

I spent the entire period between morning and afternoon dog walks bottoming out the conservatory, in readiness for Christmas decorations going up at the end of the week; I am therefore now completely shattered. Of course, if I were a more diligent housewife the rest of the year, it wouldn't take all day! Photography and genealogy have a lot to answer for...
