a happy reunion

this evening I had dinner with Cheryl, my high school friend last seen over 40 years ago in Guyana. We both then lived in Canada but somehow didn't meet up. It was exactly as before, we just chatted and laughed and reminisced, and she was delighted with the gift for her grandsons. Fortunately she comes to London fairly regularly so we shall meet more often now. This is the Copthorne Tara hotel in Kensington High Street where she stays.
