Venus de Milo...

...with arms!

This beautiful lady is in our garden, under the apple tree. She belongs to my Mum but she moved in 14 years ago and liked it so much, she didn't want to leave. She doesn't mind the robin using her hair as a wee perch occasionally and doesn't even complain when the apples fall at her feet every Autumn.

I loved the shadows that fell over her body in the afternoon sun, so I grabbed my camera.

The Christmas Barn opens at the end of November and has stacks of wonderfully different Christmas decorations (or Christmas Situations, as Alexander calls them). I bought a few bits to add to my rustic theme this year.
