Man Flu and Peter May

Picked up a dose of man 'flu. Which could have been a problem but for the fact that I am working from home again today, so no need to cancel any appointments.

Also, those nice people at Quercus have sent me an advance copy of Peter May's new book, Runaway, along with a copy of Hebrides. I can't think of a better way to feel sorry for myself than to curl up on the sofa in front of a roaring fire with them both.

I hate being ill. But sometimes, just sometimes, it's worth feeling a bit off-colour to be able to enjoy days like this...
