Derelict Thursday - Nature fighting back

What once used to be serene and green
Now poisoned, dying and unclean.

Towers of blocks carved from scenic rock
Visionary vistas destroyed and mocked.

Buildings left to rot and decay
Turning to rubble, beginning to fade away.

Mother nature trying to build anew
Hoping to rebuild what once there grew.
