View from the hill

AN amazingly warm day (+7°C) took away nearly all the frost that gathered over the last week. The sun was shining too, though very low in the sky in its December trajectory. I was free from work.
So I decided to walk up the hill behind the house. The round trip of 6 km took a couple of hours but I climbed 253 meters, the forest was in very damp and slippery condition, and I stopped to take about 40 photos, so not too bad a time really.
Here we are looking SE along Älandsfjärden, Älands fjord. The bridge for the new railway shows up well and beyond the bridge and the smoking chimneys you can see the town of Härnösand, where we work.
The picture is taken at 13:45, 37 minutes before the sunset.
