Racing to the waves!

Sick and tired of cleaning up mud from dogs, floors and boots, I decided we'd go to the East Side beach this morning so I could have a shot at cleaning up sand instead!

Ollie and Scratch had a great time, racing around, chasing wading birds, fetching bits of driftwood and seaweed, play fighting and, of course, charging in and out of the waves. They get on so well that it is always fun when Scratch comes to stay!

They even found a few dead seals - there are always some baby ones which come to grief at this time of the year - but I managed to distract them before they rolled on them. Sand I was prepared to deal with, but not stinking seal!
