Goose down (town) ...

I don't know if it's a sad reflection on my personality, but I love wandering around Green-Wood Cemetery. About 176 years old, it was apparently the second largest tourist attraction in America after Niagara Falls in the 1860's. Obviously Disney were yet to get a foothold into the lucrative tourist dollar.

It covers nearly 500 acres in Brooklyn and you can get seriously lost amongst the headstones ... then surprise yourself by turning around and getting a NY Downtown skyline as a backdrop.
