Mika Hakkinen

My wife told me about this event in Princes Street Gardens, to promote the de-facto zero alcohol limit to be imposed in Scotland. I wasn't expecting to be terribly close to the drivers so brought a bigger lens than was strictly necessary, as pointed out by the Lumia wielding rxs. Despite not being in a position to actually see any of the drivers' faces it was a lot of fun. I ended up next to a serious looking photographer and we had a nice chat discussing panning techniques. Which is meant to be the objective of this photograph here!

I would love to have taken a proper portrait of Mika Hakkinen but this of him driving a Caparo T1 will have to do.
