Splish, Splash I was taking a bath

R. and I both went to Bath today - mum stayed at home.

And it rained again, all day! The water giving the flagstones a beautiful, shiny patina. Song.

We took in the costume museum and the ever fascinating Roman Baths (and sipped the metallic-tasting water).

Apparently, disgruntled Romans would inscribe curses on lead tablets, which made me smile - I think they must have been the forerunners of Twitter trolls.
