A Chinese meal in Birkenhead

About as cheap as the Kin Chow restaurant in Birkenhead (UK) was when I had my first Chinese Meal back in the 1960's. This Birkenhead is a fashionable district in Auckland's North Shore but the meal only cost £8 a head. They were saving money on table decoration (obviously) but hadn't spent anything on English lessons either, so ordering did present problems. Off to Wellington early tomorrow so this should have been an early night but displays of fire ball juggling in the local park, some new Movenpic ice cream flavours and a Skype with Grandchildren in Bridge of Don delayed us somewhat.
