Edinburgh Sunset Lovers

This shot was captured during an impromptu walk up Blackford Hill in Edinburgh. I set off with the idea of experimenting with the last of the winter sun before it set. Initially I had supposed that the views towards Edinburgh city centre would be the most dramatic but it was in fact the misty sunset towards the Pentland Hill range which blew me away. I was crouched whilst changing lenses and noticed that a couple had just wandered into shot to share the romantic scene and I just managed to take the shot at the perfect time to capture the moment.
