We saw this piano out on a pavement very close to our house a few months ago. It had a sign on it saying 'working piano, free to anyone who can uplift'. I knocked on the door of the house it had obviously come from and I told them I would like it. The woman was so happy as they couldn't get rid of it. The council had refused to uplift (health and safety reasons apparently). So K and the womans husband wheeled it round to our house.

It's now crammed into our not very big dining area and nobody plays it! Well I am looking into getting piano lessons for J........so we'll see. It might end up on the street with a sign on it.
