Steamin'

We were in the west today for the Glasgow Parks orienteering event. This consists of 3 races in different parks, but you only know the first one beforehand. The second one is revealed at the finish of the first, and the last venue once the second is completed. The forecast had been dire with heavy wintry showers throughout the day. However, the weather fairy smiled on us with only a couple of minutes of rain at Glasgow Green. It snowed heavily as we drove to Springburn Park, the first venue, and I got changed in the car as it was foul. However about 10 minutes before first start it stopped and running was ok, apart from across the grass covered in damp snow. I did all right and was second super veteran man overall. The blip is taken at Glasgow Green looking south over the Clyde to some industrial facility whose steam stood out against the dark sky.
