Snow on the hills

Went for a walk in the Trossachs today, and climbed up for good views of Lochs Venachar, Achray and Drunkie, and looking towards the big snowy bulk of Ben Venue. We had sunshine and snow and sleet, but we had a wonderful walk, and finished up with a meal at the Lion and Unicorn in Thornhill.

Had a wee chat to Fiona, the owner, and she was telling us of the time that Elizabeth Taylor visited...... no kidding, they have the photographic evidence......
