Blenheim

Just up the road from us is Blenheim Palace, the seat of the Dukes of Marlborough and the birthplace of Winston Churchill. We think we saw the new Duke (number 11 passed away in October), former hellraiser and party-boy extraordinaire the Marquis of Blandford, getting out of the jeep parked at the front of the palace.

Throughout the state rooms was a series Ai Weiwei installations - if jarring juxtaposition needed an illustrative definition this was it!
