True Grit ...

... was what it took to get up at 6 am this cold rainy morning to leave plenty of time to catch our plane back across the big pond at Heathrow. At least we had company of sorts in this group, probably waiting for their bus. The fellow with the red cello case and the lime-green hoodie is passing by. He's more vivid in large. Our hotel is barely visible on the right, and the Earls Court tube station is a hundred meters to the left.

True Grit was an American western film of 1969 starring John Wayne.

I am backblipping this the next morning from Northampton, since the internet was down last night at the supermarket near our NYC apartment. The flight was fine, and also the drive back this morning. For any non-English persons who may be puzzled: Grit here means sand, available on the street for the coming winter.
