Texas Life

Texas Winter

Even though Central Texas winters are considered mild by most, it still gets cold. And grey. There aren't that many trees in most areas, and most are deciduous, so their leaves disappear for the winter. And lawn grass goes dormant and brown. So it gets kind of monochromatic around here, and colder than you'd think. Not a fan of Texas winter. But I did like the shadows from the nearly leafless sycamore tree as they played against this aged wooden fence and birdhouse.
