Top of the Rose Street muti-storey car park, in Inverness tonight.

Heavy rain overnight and this morning, that fell as snow in the hills. It very conveniently stopped just in time for me to be able to cycle to work totally dry. Very cautious return journey this evening. It was sub-zero, and for all the roads outside Inverness - six miles of the seven - the surface was glistening with frost. Any grit there had been, had been washed away in the showers.

Long needed, and close to the bone, haircut at lunchtime... which added to the chill on the way home.
