Fabulous Sculpture, St Peter's Square, Manchester

Go and see this fantastic sculpture in central Manchester if you can. It is a piece of work called Adrift and is by the artist John Cassidy. He said of his own work that it represented "Humanity adrift on the sea of life, depicting sorrows and dangers, hopes and fears and embodying the dependence of human beings upon one another, the response of human sympathy to human needs and the inevitable dependence upon Divine Aid" John Cassidy 1908.
