Blue bull

Another Pablobian response.

Wasn't it windy today? And wet?

A spectator on the H4 this evening would have been treated to the sight of a dashing, young motorist's hat blowing off as he piloted his open-topped sportster, expertly, through the rain. The spectator would have applauded the quick thinking of the DYM's rapid exit at the next traffic light followed by a nonchalant three-point turn which allowed the hatless pilot to race back and retrieve his stylish headgear from the middle of the road.

Earlier, on our way to the annual, Christmas meal at the Chinese restaurant, disaster was averted when my highly-trained chaffeuse narrowly avoided the Chelsea Tractor which pulled out and tried to occupy the same bit of road as us. Without that quick bit of thinking, we would be NickMogless (and, I suppose, chaffeuseless and less the other two occupants of the car as well) and the world would have had to do without this timeless piece of "luminous brilliance"*. The world would be a poorer place.

* OK, rumbled. I put the inverted comments to give the misleading impression that the unwarranted praise had been bestowed by someone else. But it hadn't.
