Gritty

I snapped this shot when Peg and I were on the subway up to the Metropolitan Museum - as I snapped the shot, two of the people looked right at me - busted! But, being NY, everything was okay.

We arrived at the Met only to learn that they were closed for a special event...for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! So, of course we had to wait (in the frigid temps) to catch sight of the Royal Couple arriving - they look just as you'd expect - beautiful!

We scurried into a local spot for s delicious dinner - best gnocchi I've had since Italy! Washed down by some excellent red wine.
