Two birds from England

that flew all the way here for my birthday.
Tara and Tyler and their brood sent me these two feathered creatures.
Tara is a kindred spirit in all the ways that count, so she knew I was a magpie for collecting shiny things.
What she didn't know, was that I only ever saw magpies in any great number when I moved here 9 years ago. I used to get so excited every time I saw one, and still do, as when growing up I never saw any in my folks garden.
So that made the card even more special than it already was, and it's going to be framed forever with it's little accompanying free flying pal.
