Life through the lens...

David Hockney's Salts Mill

A very enjoyable day spent with my sister at Salts Mill, Bradford.
Web site see here.
This is a painting of the mill done by David Hockney, which is in the art gallery.
Squally showers, but managed to get from the car park without getting too wet.
11 am went for a morning coffee.
Then a look round the book store, and The Home shop.
Followed by lunch, in the Cafe in the Opera.
Delicious goats cheese and leek tart with walnut pastry, new poatoes, and salad.
Back to The Home Store. I just love that shop.
Came out without breaking the bank! ( just!)
The weather had now turned really nasty with rain, hail and sleet.
Nice to be back home with the wood burner lit, a mug of coffee, and mince pie.

Hope those of you on the West coast are all safe, as the weather there looks horrendous.
