The End Result

I had it in my mind to photograph a pink rose from a bunch of flowers I bought earlier in the week. After waiting for it to open, I didn't like how it was looking, so changed the settings in the camera to monochrome. I then got it onto the computer and changed it to a warmer colour.

In the meantime, I also photographed some lilies, they tipped over, a flower head fell off and three stamens dropped onto the carpet. Photography is meant to be relaxing...isn't it?

Earlier this evening, I went with both Daughters and all the Grandchildren to meet Father Christmas. It had been arranged by a person from Streetbank. He'd also organised hot chocolate and mince pies and the Mayor of Witney came to say hello too. The vicar was rousing everyone into singing carols but the little ones were exhausted so we slipped away.
