Batten down the hatches

I have been into town rather later than I wanted recently, but today I went along in the morning. It was really dark, so the first pictures I took at the west end of Princes Street I had to use ISO 3200 to get a shutter speed above 1/30. Luckily the clouds thinned enough to get some brightness for the blip before the dark clouds brought in order, rain, hail, sleet and finally snow driven on by a brisk wind. No wonder the rides were shut for the day and the crowds disappeared. The blip is at Princes Mall and I like the reflections from the damp slabs. We did escape the worst of the weather, which stayed in the west I'm glad to say.
