Special number plate

Like old cars old number plates also intetest me. This one is special as it was released in 1964 to be used on the New Zealand prime minister's car. The whole CR series was reserved for government cars. I have one half of the pair. I wonder where the other is? In 1987 when the plate colour changed to black on white new CR1 plates were manufactured.
