Day 11 December Challenge: Far Away

Although today's theme word was supposed to be a viewpoint, I have taken 'far away' in it's more literal sense. This pukeko was given to me by my dear other half, who is currently working about as far away as he could be - literally on the other side of the world! I'll be joining him out there for four weeks in February - I can't wait!

The pukeko usually sits under my computer screen, though I moved him to the garden table for this shot (my desk doesn't have green stuff growing on it!). He is always in sight, and makes me smile.
