Processions of Virgins

According to tradition, the Virgin Mary aka Virgen de Guadalupe appeared to an indigenous Mexican man on Dec 12, 1531. Now on the eve of that day, there were many community & business processions in which the Virgen re-appeared and was taken into the local Catholic church for celebrations. Marching bands, traditional costumes, chanting, singing, eating, fireworks.....
