It's a funny old world...

So, the 'weather bomb' has detonated/exploded/gone off leaving - a beautiful day and precisely zero damage to trees and infrastructure.

This is the view from my office this afternoon and, as you can see, it's a beautiful day; so beautiful that if the trees still had leaves (something that's doubly impossible given the high winds of the last two days) you could be forgiven for thinking that it is still summer.

Well, until you go outside, that is; it's bitterly cold, but, given how sunny it is, we're basking in the most glorious winter conditions imaginable. On days like this I can't imagine living in any other country, something this blip will hopefully remind me of as things take the inevitable turn for the worse later in the season!
