The grotto as we know it is no more.
Highcross Leicester has incarcerated Santa in a huge poly globe with a posh throne and lashings of fake snow.
Children enter via a rear door and can sit next to Santa whilst telling him what they want for Christmas. They then have a choice of a cuddly toy from his box.
