Borders Railway

I stopped the van in Langlee this afternoon, just at the footbridge over the new railway. The track laying hasn't made it this far yet but it's only a few miles away. The first train is due to run on the 6th of September next year and will provide a fast frequent service (allegedly) to Edinburgh every day.

The view is the railway, the Gala Water then over to infinity Netherdale and beyond. You can see the rugby pitch on the left where Gala play then the modern Borders College building then the converted mill which houses part of Heriot Watt.

This was as close to a sunset as we got today too!
