Scrawny Old Man

On Auchterhouse Hill

Beautiful sunny morning for a parkrun on really hard frozen ground. Had to tread carefully and some of the road bits were slippy (always better to run off-road), but really enjoyed it.
There are a lot of blanks in the results because of a problem uploading them (all the places and times are there but the names went missing - mine's in because I knew was 20th) - but at least we got a run, some were cancelled because of the icy conditions.
And the new shoes did a great job.
In the afternoon we had a walk in the Sidlaws, it was cloudier but still fine and cold.
Here's the view across the Tay from Auchterhouse Hill. There's a race up there in the summer called White Tops - should do it in winter when the tops really are white.
