Ironbridge

Stopped with Debra in Ironbridge on the way to see Chester FC at Telford in the FA Trophy 1st round.

I have always wanted to see the iron bridge, the first ever arch bridge built of cast iron back in 1779, since studying the industrial revolution in history at school way back when. I must say I wasn't disappointed, it's an absolute marvel.

We had tea and scones in a charming tea house nearby and I took time to purchase a famous Eleys pork pie to take home.

Chester took a draw from Telford so it will be back to the Swansway Stadium for a replay on December 23rd
