Rejoice Greatly

Just got back from listening to the "Glorious Messiah" in Lichfield Cathedral, accompanied by the Staffordshire (brass) Band, in which a friend of ours plays.
Don't think I'd ever realised before how it tells the story of the Messiah so brilliantly. Indeed, Hallelujah!

And the stars - so clear - scattered around the illuminated spires - just beautiful - but wow, was it cold - as Paul's friend said - "pain in the air".

And now our s-i-l has made us dinner and it smells good - gotta go...
