Bokeh tree

Today was bright but cool. We went for a bike ride round midday to try and capture the maximum heat and the best light. I was feeling brave so I went out into the frost in shorts rather than full length cycling bottoms. I did put my thickest cycling socks on and my thin glove liners under my mitts. Other than cool toes it was actually plenty warm enough, the big muscles in your legs soon warm up quickly enough even when there is frost on the ground.

Today's back-blip is the xmas tree in the living room, photographed in out of focus with a wide open aperture to get the strongest bokeh effect. The camera is only a compact but tit still has a manual focus mode - which is enough for an effect like this.
