End of the pier

Rol and I are taking a short break on the coast in Cromer, just 90 minutes away from where we live by public transport (and that includes the bus ride from our house to Norwich rail station).

We got to Cromer around 5pm and after checking in to the place where we were staying (a traditional local boozer which also did bed and breakfast, about 5 mins from the rail station and 10 mins from the sea) we went for a stroll around, had a lovely supper at one of the pubs on the sea front, then went to have a look at the pier to see how it was bearing up after taking a hell of a bashing in December 2013 when horrific storms totally destroyed their box office and rather a lot of other parts of the coast around Norfolk. The new box office is being constructed, but it's business as usual in terms of shows and tickets are selling well.

The pier may look a bit bleak here but I assure you it was not - the theatre was packed.
