A little seasonal sparkle...

... for a damp and dismal afternoon.

Out for a long lunch with friends. On the way back through town, the heel on my left shoe felt loose. The whole heel was, in fact, falling off - and was better to walk on when I pulled the heel off altogether. Within minutes, the other shoe had a flapping heel too. These were not cheap shoes and were not worn out - but the same fault on both shoes warrants a complaint I think. (He said, limping slightly.)
