Before & After

This is a pork shoulder (well, part of one) and the ex-pork shoulder. Given the apparent quality of the joint and the amount of spices I rubbed into it yesterday I was expecting something special. In the end it was good but not special so that was a bit disappointing. Mind you, I have to say that the cheesy/filo starter which S made was excellent! And of course the company was good, so we had a pretty nice evening which is what really matters.

S is clearing up, I should go and help ....
