Day 16 - Santa Fe, NM

A welcome low key day after a few tiring days on the road. Overnight flurries left a dusting of snow on the ground making the town an atmospheric place to walk around. Adobe style buildings and low rise developments give it a unique feel. We did the Georgia O'Keefe and New Mexico history museums which were both interesting, followed by coffee and cake in a cafe to warm up. The blue sky and sun then gave way to cloud and bitterly cold winds. After a rest we headed out again and had local Mexican influenced food in a decent bistro before scampering back to the hotel in the freezing temperatures. A slight contrast to Florida.....!
