Bear toss

There is a tradition in ice hockey of the "teddy bear toss" before Christmas. Fans bring a soft toy, and after the first goal by the home team they are thrown onto the ice. It's for charity. Interesting health and safety/policy creep - you used to just throw an old bear, now it has to be new, and be in a clear, plastic non-branded bag.
Ours was tonight, against Braehead Clan. We only had a moderate amount of bears, see 26,000 thrown on the ice at Calgary.
The match - there were fights every 10 seconds, two Clan players got kicked out, Devils went 4-0 up, and Clan came back to draw 5-5. We won in overtime.
