Man, dog and boat - might just be the perfect combination!

As usual, our neighbour Robert was up early and embarking on the first of today's projects: clearing the lake of weed. This is rather an ongoing project, for which he uses an ingenious rake-device fixed to the front of his old oyster boat, ably assisted by Astuce, his faithful chocolate lab.

Astuce refuses to swim, unlike most labradors, but enjoys a nice ride on a tractor, a cart - or even, occasionally, in the bucket of Robert's digger.
