Threatening

...skies were the order of the day, as we had steady rain throughout. In the late afternoon I decided to take a walk down the hill for a blip shot. This view made me stop in my tracks. Almost mono, it captured the dark grays and blue purples of the day. As I watched, a curtain of clouds passed between me and the mountains, obliterating the hills behind. We got a bit less than 1-1/2 inches of rain.
