Purton Hulk

Purton in Gloucetershire is an interesting place. When the river Severn was in danger of breaching the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal, the authorities decided to ground some derelict vessels between the 1920s and the 1970s. Time had taken it's toll on many of the vessels, but you can still wander in amongst the bones of barges long past.
I waited for ages for the light to get this good.
