Dos Patos

...at the campus pond. For Spanish practice, there's pato de reclamo (decoy duck) and pato a la naranja (duck a l'orange). But these two are pato real or pato sylvestre (mallard/wild duck). And just to go that extra mile with the homework, here's an idiom:

'ser el pato de la boda o fiesta' translates roughly to 'be the duck at the wedding,' or in other words the laughing stock in any situation. I'm sure I'll have plenty of chances to say 'Soy el pato de la boda o fiesta aqui.' Sorry I don't have the Spanish keyboard set up with the accents and all~
